The mission statement of the Christian Coalition International Canada includes six objects, namely:

1) To represent the Christian point of view before local councils, provincial legislatures, the federal government, parliament and the senate.

2) To proclaim our values in the public arena and the media.

3) To serve as an umbrella organisation to train leaders for effective social and political action.

4) To inform Christians about timely issues and legislation.

5) To protest anti-Christian bigotry.

6) To serve as a network association of Christian Politician officeholders.

Summary of Objectives and Goals

The Christian Coalition International Canada is a national organisation, which endeavours to build out its network across the country to engage Christians of all traditional persuasions. Only by doing this will we be able to connect with Christian individuals in communities across the country to recruit, train and equip them to become the voice of the Christian Coalition at the local, provincial, or federal levels.

Although Christians represent close to 80% of the population in Canada, Judaeo-Christian values are under increasing attack in our modern secularist culture, in our institutions of government, in the educational establishments, and in the judiciary.

In fact our current political and juridical structures have diluted the influence of Judaeo-Christian values and almost completely replaced these with anti-Christian secular state approved values. This will lead to disastrous consequences, as it did in the Roman empire, and similar civilisations.

On the whole Christians for too long have assumed that the area of government is outside the domain of their responsibility, other than minimal civic participation in the electoral process every couple of years. The concept of "Separation of Church and State", which the United States legal history references was designed to assure no State-Control over the Church, rather than the exclusion of historical religious precepts from public life and the formulation of public policy.

Today fundamental religious freedoms, freedom of speech, and the freedom to make personal moral choices, are threatened by government and judicial actions aimed at promoting political correctness and extreme liberal secularist values based on secular humanist philosophy. The recent provincial court rulings rendering unconstitutional the definition of marriage, as between one man and one woman, are a case in point.

The Christian Coalition International Canada Inc., and its provincial affiliates exist to fight for the traditional moral values and religious freedoms Catholics, Orthodox, Protestants, Evangelicals, and other Christians, as a vibrant majority, hold dear, and to restore those values as a guiding force in public policy. By bringing these sectors of society together as a cohesive force Canada will, with God's help, be restored as a great moral nation.
